Mr. O’Malley is highly experienced in the use of leading composition and production software packages such as Logic, Pro-Tools, Max/MSP, Reason, Reaktor, Live, and Finale, allowing for the creation and production of innovative and quality music and shows.

Original Music Composition, Sound Design, Scores, Orchestration, and Arrangements

We have extensive experience and great interest in designing, producing, and directing innovative and high impact musical content for theatrical productions, concerts, and entertainment programs of many types and complexity. We can provide both original and pre-recorded music and offer the creativity and flexibility for responsive and collaborative integration with other creative and media elements.

From live theatrical productions, to music CDs, to commissions for orchestras and concerts, to advertisements, we can provide you with the musical style and design impact for successful entertainment productions.

We listen carefully to the themes, creative objectives and stylistic goals of our clients and their projects and work in a highly collaborative, responsive manner. We work with all of the multimedia provided to us to generate music and sound fitting and fully expressive for the entertainment experience targeted by the project or concert.

We create musical scores that support and enrich the goals of the story being told and experienced. We especially concentrate on developing clear communications and understandings with film/television directors and creators about the desired objectives and roles to be played by the music, both throughout the production, as well as at key theatrical and emotional moments. Flexibility, adaptability and sensitivity to timeframes and budgets are integral elements to our contextual view of every scoring project.

We can provide clients with innovative, practical, and pleasing arrangements and orchestrations in a diverse number of music genres and performers, from solo pieces, to small ensembles, to full orchestras.

Accompaniment and Performance

Mr. O’Malley is available to provide piano/keyboard and other selected accompaniments for vocalists, musicians and small ensembles. He has years of piano performance experience, particularly in accompaniment of other top musical performers, including vocalists.

He is also available for piano/keyboard and other instrumental performances of many styles, as a soloist or with a band, and has the flexibility to perform at numerous geographical venues.
